TORUK - The First Flight: New Show from Cirque du Soleil!

Hi Bloggers! Yesterday on the 10th of September, my family and I headed to Horncastle Arena to go see TORUK-The First Flight. Inspired by James Cameron’s Avatar, Cirque du Soleil transports you to the world of Pandora in a visually stunning live setting. Experience a storytelling odyssey through a new world of imagination, discovery and possibility. It was amazing! I loved the lights, acrobats and everyone and everything!

Netball Zones 2017

Hi Bloggers! On Wednesday the 2nd of August 2017, the YMS Netball and Rugby teams headed to Rolleston for Zones. Our Team's name is the "Yaldhurst Tactics". We had 5 games but ended up only playing 4 because of the rain. We versed Rolleston 1, Burnham, Rolleston 2 and West Melton. We lost all of our games and tied one. We had heaps of fun and improved a lot.

Hockey Zones 2017!

Hi Bloggers! Yesterday on the 28th of June 2017 me and some of the netball girls gathered together to head to hockey zones. It was Me, Lucy, Laura, Ariana, Grace, Maddie, Lauren and Julia. Yes. I know what you're thinking; wait, if they play Netball why are they going to Hockey Zones? Well this is the answer.

At the start of the year Lucy, Grace and I were all going to play Hockey but there wasn't enough of us to have a team so we decided to play Netball. But later in the year there was an opportunity to play Hockey. So we said YES! We practiced and got ready for Zones. Finally the day came.

We versed Rolleston 0-3, Clearview 0-5, Templeton 0-5 and West Rolleston 0-2. We had pretty good games for our first time.

Please comment if you like my post/or if not, and what your favourite sport is!

Week 8: Learning Blog Post

Hi Bloggers! For the past two weeks rimu class have been working on using their own Self-management Timetable to manage their work. On a monday morning everyone would sit on the mat and plan out their week. We have about 10 must do's and if we still have spare time we can catch up on work we haven't finished. I really like using my own timetable because it's preparing me for high school and making me more independent. I like that i'm not being told what to do, so I can choose what I want to do and when. Let me know if you have ever used a Self-Management Timetable and what you thought of it? Please leave a comment and I will try to reply as soon as possible! Thanks!
