Novel Study: Term 4

Hi Bloggers! I'm back with another post. For the past 6 weeks and a half, Rimu Class have been working  on their Novel Studies. For my Novel I chose the book Matilda, as it's on of my favourites. Prototec Basic Facts Results Graph!

Hi Bloggers! I’m back with another post! For the past 7 week Rimu class have been using a Basics Facts Site called Prototec.

Prototec is a maths site where you can study your basic facts and challenge yourself to trying something new! I am a Stage 8, so i do the Stage 8 work.

We decided to make a column graph; to record our results on. Making the graph may look easy but it was pretty hard! We had to make ours perfect! I finally had finished my graph and edited it so that it would look nice. I made my theme ‘Rainbows and Unicorns’. I choses this theme because...I just like Unicorns and colourful things?!

I really enjoyed Prototec because it helped me with my converting of fractions and how to use Improper fractions with decimals. I think this will help me in the future for example when I go shopping and can’t decide which top had the better deal.

This has helped me so much! I would recommend this to anyone who is struggling with their basic facts. Why not give Prototec a try?!
