TORUK - The First Flight: New Show from Cirque du Soleil!

Hi Bloggers! Yesterday on the 10th of September, my family and I headed to Horncastle Arena to go see TORUK-The First Flight. Inspired by James Cameron’s Avatar, Cirque du Soleil transports you to the world of Pandora in a visually stunning live setting. Experience a storytelling odyssey through a new world of imagination, discovery and possibility. It was amazing! I loved the lights, acrobats and everyone and everything!

  1. Hi Bella,

What a wonderful opportunity you had to go and see this show. It looked amazing and I really wanted to go.

I enjoyed reading the description of Toruk that you found online. I would have loved to have read more about what you found amazing. You have mentioned the lights and acrobats. What aspects really blew you away? What sort of things would someone like me find exciting and new?

    1. Hi Mrs Spragg!
Thanks for your comment! I really appreciate it! I really liked how all the lights flashed and made a beautiful scenery. I think you would find the acrobatics surprising and you would notice how strong they are.

      Thank you!

  3. Hi Bella,

Wow! What an amazing experience you had. The costume and special effects look amazing. I saw Cirque du Soleil a couple of years ago in Christchurch and was also blown away by the acrobatics. Do you think this show was easier to follow as you knew the movie Avatar? What other movies do you think would translate into a show like this well? Keep up the great blogging Bella!

    Miss Blair :)
